For more than three decades, Susan and David Diehl have been part of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, community. Members since 1990, the couple has supported the MFAH through their time, leadership, and philanthropy. Susan, who served as president of the Museum's Guild from 2018 to 2020, has long believed in the power of volunteerism and the importance of sustaining cultural institutions for future generations.

Now retired, Susan and David are parents to three grown daughters and are thoughtfully planning for the future. As part of their estate plans, they have included bequests for their family, the MFAH, and several other charities close to their hearts.

"We wanted to include the Museum because it's such a great institution that makes a difference for so many," Susan shared. "We're confident that our gift will be invested wisely," stated David.

Their decision reflects a lifelong appreciation for the arts and the meaningful role the MFAH has played in their lives. Through their planned gift, the Diehls ensure that the Museum and the inspiration it provides will continue to enrich the community for generations to come.
